Director, Research Programs

The Director of Research Programs plays an integral role as a communicator and facilitator leading the research agenda for the BCPA.  This role works with the research committee to set the research agenda and provides guidance and leadership to the committee members who are paramedic researchers.

The Director of Research will work closely with the other Directors to translate research knowledge to clinical practice and education to meet the contemporary and future needs of the profession.  The Director will also liaise with and develop research partnerships, seek grants and work with the Director of Education on establishing formal academic research programs and linkages with tertiary educational institutions and hospitals and health care professional colleges and associations.

The key focus of this role is developing British Columbia based paramedic led original research for publication.
