The Research Comittee (Researchers) plays an integral role leading the research agenda for the BCPA. This committee sets the research agenda and provides guidance and leadership to the committee members who are paramedic researchers.
The Committee through the Director of Research will work closely with the other Directors to translate research knowledge to clinical practice and education to meet the contemporary and future needs of the profession. The committee will also liaise with and develop research partnerships, seek grants and work with the Director of Education on establishing formal academic research programs and linkages with tertiary educational institutions and hospitals and health care professional colleges and associations.
The key focus of this committee is developing British Columbia based paramedic led original research for publication.
