Main purpose of the Sr. Associate Textile Designer role: This is a full-time role for a candidate who will support the Director of Textile & Art and utilize his or her creativity to manipulate and design prints for our various brands. This position will work very closely with our Design team to produce high quality print files with a quick turnaround time. This is a permanent full-time role for a candidate who has advanced Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills and strong communication skills that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Major Responsibilities: Create original prints & pattern designs in line with the brand and target market. Rework artworks or existing scanned fabrications for high quality repeat file. Organize & prepare artwork files for vendor capability by creating repeat tiles, color-separation, and print packages. Collaborate across design departments and categories. Conduct research & development for on-trend, season and original brand appropriate designs. Utilize hand drawing or AI generating software when necessary to create designs. Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management. Required Competencies: Possess advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Possess advanced skills in hand-drawing or illustration. Strong understanding of fashion construction & industry textile & printing techniques. Strong understanding of print layouts and color theory principles. Strong knowledge in AI generating software & prompt creation. Must be highly organized and time-oriented, capable of efficiently completing multiple tasks & projects within deadlines. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to follow-up when needed. Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality, detail and accuracy. Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2-4 years experience working in a similar role. Must have a degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design or equivalent experience. Must have knowledge of print production and printing techniques. Advanced in Adobe Illustrator + Photoshop. Ability to paint and draw whenever it is required. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge in AI generating software (Midjourney) & prompt generation. For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current salary rate is $70,000 to $82,000 per year.
