AGOLDE eCommerce Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, initiative-taking, analytical yet creative person with experience in fashion eCommerce & knowledge of current fashion trends to join our growing eCommerce team.

As an eCommerce Manager you will be responsible for the operation and optimization of the shopping experience that results in sales growth for AGOLDE.com. This individual will partner with the Senior Director of eCommerce to identify opportunities, execute strategies, and build strong assortments that will achieve or surpass eCommerce’s financial objectives. The eCommerce Manager will plan seasonal inventory buys, manage inventory stock levels, analyze seasonal merchandise assortments, and develop online merchandising strategies that drive sales and maximize profitability.

  • Own the development of site merchandising strategies and their day-to-day execution.
  • Identify and execute upon opportunities for optimization of site search, product data, product sorting, filters, product recommendations, up-sells/cross-sells, and content strategies.
  • Establish an SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic and work with cross-functional partners to execute.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis, establish KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional partners to inform decision-making processes and performance reporting.
  • Run analysis and prepare selling hindsight on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal basis to help identify opportunities in the assortment.
  • Manage the merchandising calendar to accurately schedule website content and organize support for digital marketing efforts.
  • Responsible for communicating eCommerce merchandising strategies with other cross-functional partners to ensure that goals are met on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for OTB inventory management, which requires a strong internal partnership and review of sell-thru, while identifying opportunities for reorders and mitigating out-of-stock risks.
  • Work directly with the operations and logistics teams to monitor production and inventory receipts.
  • Work and collaborate with graphic designer and digital marketing team on daily/weekly email creation, testing, and deployment.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce team on ensuring the successful coordination and launch of new and refreshed products.
  • Manage end-to-end process of seasonal product creation in Shopify. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure all assets are ready for launch.
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of product data as well as taking responsibility for correcting and facilitating any fixes.
  • Work with the web developer on site enhancements and business projects to improve the customers’ shopping and post-purchase experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years with experience working in an online fashion setting as a site merchandiser, or related position.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, Klayvio, Google Analytics & Google Ads.
  • Experience with ERP Vantage Point, Ship Station, amplifi.io, LOOP, and Global-E is a plus.
  • Proficient with eCommerce tooling and ability to quickly learn how to navigate new programs.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
  • Self-directed, attention to detail, accurate, and organized.

Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and resourcefulness, be a solution-seeker, and make practical decisions and suggestions.

Work well under pressure, handle multiple and competing priorities, and adhere to deadlines.

Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
