- Including operating CNC equipment, Safety procedures, fabrication of sheet metal products.
- Ability to work independently after sufficient training.
RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Minimum Qualifications - Education: High School Graduate Preferred.
- Years of Experience: One year of related experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Must speak English fluently.
- Reliable transportation: Ability to come to work when scheduled.
- Physical: Ability to stand and perform repetitive activities for extended periods of time.
- Skill with Tools
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Read a tape measure, or ability to learn.
- Experience with sheet metal and/or manufacturing & fabrication is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be comfortable working in a team/group setting.
- Possess a motivated and professional attitude.
Essential Functions - Learn about safety and why it's our primary concern.
- Steel toed boots, eye & ear protection, gloves, and other PPE specific to task
- Read drawings to program machines.
- Ability to learn to operate various machines and produce quality products.
- Handle materials properly and safely.
- Interact with job tracking software.
Physical & Mental Demands - Ability to work safely while standing, driving, and walking; to lift 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to pick-up from vendors and deliver products to customers upon request, to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach for materials. Maintain focus throughout production runs and stay on task.
Work Environment - A manufacturing environment with heat, but without air conditioning. Load noises where ear protection is required.
