In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging lessons, support language acquisition across all subjects, and foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.

About the Role:

• Prepare and implement instructional plans for ELL students.
• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support effective learning.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support diverse learners.
• Regularly assess and track student progress to modify strategies for continued language development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate English language development across content areas.

Requirements

1. Possess a valid Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement.
2. Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
3. Demonstrated success in teaching ESL or performing in a similar capacity.
4. Skilled in supporting students from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
