Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

• Greet guests as they enter your store or approach your register
• Offer suggestions to help souvenir-seeking guests find their perfect keepsake
• Tell shoppers about add-on accessories and Shopping Passes
• Re-stock bins, shelves, fixtures, and displays full of the newest merchandise
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers
• Organize product in storage areas and general housekeeping duties
• Keep aisles, counter tops, and displays clean
• Maintaining safe area and work environment
• Communicating effectively with lead or supervisor
• Be on alert for store security and loss prevention
• Assisting in other areas of the Rental Department
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned
• Follow all Six Flags policies and procedures
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required

What You Will Need:

• Must be at least 15 years old or older [depends on staffing needs]
• Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing and speaking
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing- Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work both inside and outdoors in varying climates

Other Notes:

• All other duties necessary to support the park as a whole.
• Reports to Retail/Rental Team Lead

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level is generally moderate to high.
