Product Line Marketing Sr. Manager – ICD Amplifier Product Line onsemi is seeking a motivated, customer focused, and self-driven candidate to join the Amplifier Product Line, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Product Line Marketing Sr. Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall business and strategy of the Amplifier product line, from product definition to market release. The candidate will interact with all internal groups from Technology Development, Designers, Applications Engineering, and Marketing. There will be an expected level of travel to customers and tradeshows in order to understand customer needs, target markets, and competitive landscape. A competent level of technical knowledge is required in power electronics, however a fresh, commercially creative mind is also needed to initiate the technology and product concepts into real profit making products. This is an individual contributor role. This position will be seated in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a comprehensive relocation benefit will accompany this role, if necessary. Requirements: 7+ years’ work experience in the semiconductor industry – preferably related to amplifier integrated circuit design technologies. Knowledge of power semiconductors, topologies and systems in industrial and automotive segments. Self-starter, proactive, high energy, results and goals driven. Technical ability with consumer focus. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent cross-functional expertise (problem solving, communication and negotiation, strategic thinking, system thinking, focused drive, good interpersonal skills). Ability to tactfully deal with multiple business and cultures around the world. Ability to formulate business cases and understanding of market background. Strategic marketing experience. Excellent presentation skills. Customer focused. Organization skills to track actions and owners. Amplifier experience strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to: Collaborate within Product Line and internal groups at a technical level, however keeping a commercial focus and realization of the strategic and business requirements. Present the Amplifier strategy internally to various groups and management. Define new products for the semiconductor amplifier market segment (product requirements, business case, competitive outlook). Prepare business cases for new product and technology projects. Analyze market reports to understand growth markets. Support Sales, FAEs and Marketing. Own the product roadmap development. Follow-up with Sales and Marketing on line-of-sight projects and develop funnel opportunities. Closely work with Designers and Application Engineering to verify that the target specifications are satisfactorily met. Engage customers and field staff to collect customer and market requirements. Manage core aspects of product for the full life cycle – target applications, core value proposition, pricing, market opportunity. Team with the field staff to drive and support Design In and Design Win pursuit activity (directing field where product fits, driving internal response to RFI/RFQ’s, providing pricing and terms that can be offered in specific customer negotiations to close a deal). Team with Strategic Marketing and Go-to-Market managers to align outbound marketing and field sales tools with business plans for the product.
