A leading company is seeking a highly skilled MEP Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Heat Loss/Gain Calculations: Accurately calculate heat loss and gain to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
Equipment Selection and Sizing: Select and size equipment, ducts, and pipes to meet project specifications and code requirements.
Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with mechanical and energy codes, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Client Coordination: Meet with clients to understand their needs and coordinate with various departments to deliver successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) License: Must hold a PE license in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: A BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering is required.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a strong understanding of code requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team and communicate with clients.
Location: Hybrid - Salem, OR
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
