The Role: Lateral Associate - IP Litigation | Washington, D.C. We are seeking an experienced and driven Lateral Associate specializing in IP Litigation to join a top-tier team in Washington, D.C. This role offers the chance to make an impact by tackling complex intellectual property cases and contributing to groundbreaking litigation efforts.
In this position, you will: - Represent clients in intellectual property and patent litigation matters.
- Develop innovative legal strategies and draft motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Manage PTAB disputes and contribute to case preparation for trials or appeals.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to navigate high-profile, high-stakes cases.
Candidate Profile Were looking for candidates who bring:
- Experience: Law school graduate from 20182021 with prior experience in IP or patent litigation.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school. Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar fields is highly preferred.
- Expertise: Strong legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Additional Qualifications: CAFC clerkship and PTAB dispute experience are a plus.
