Regional Technical Manager, Atlanta, GA

Travel: Approximately 50%

Job Summary: 

Clyde Industries is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Technical Manager to oversee day-to-day sales and technical operations within an assigned region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires extensive travel within the region to meet with clients, conduct site visits, and attend industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales reps, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop and deliver customized solutions.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Clyde Industries' products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales or technical support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery.
  • Experience in industrial technical sales.
  • Experience with Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, Waste to Energy, or similar industrial environments is a plus.
  • Experience working in a team selling environment with Sales Reps is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
