Role: Market Data Technical Project Manager

Firm: Leading Hedge Fund with excellent track record

Location: Miami, FL - in office 5x a week

Description:

• As Market Data Technical Manager, you will be working with technology leads to deliver on data related initiatives, providing product and project management support in the firmwide Market Data organization
• Work with end-users to gather requirements and understand use cases
• Engage with business stakeholders and engineering to prioritize requests, while effectively managing expectations
• Track and report project resources, tasks, risks, updates, and progress
• Participate in projects for building out of new trading platforms
• Assist with onboarding of trading groups

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years of technical project management experience in an Electronic Trading/Systematic Trading environment, either at a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank, or similar
• 5+ years’ experience with Real Time Market Data technical project management, involving infrastructure and development
• Strong understanding of key data principals
• Experience with vendor direct feeds such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Factset distribution infrastructures
• Knowledgeable with low-latency system design and implementation
• Strong analytical skills, including interpretation of business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements
• SQL/Python/Tableau Experience with Technical Project Management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities within a tight timeframe
• Experience with gathering, specifying, and writing business requirements for development teams
