Position Summary: Are you a master negotiator with a passion for logistics? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where every day brings a new challenge? As a Freight Broker, you'll be the linchpin in our operations, orchestrating the seamless movement of goods from point A to point B. Your mission: negotiate killer rates, build rock-solid relationships, and ensure every shipment arrives on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

* Freight: Orchestrate the transport of goods by matching freight with top-notch carriers. Ensure every shipment is picked up and delivered on schedule.
* Negotiation: Hammer out the best rates with carriers, balancing cost-efficiency for clients with profitability for the company.
* Carrier : Cultivate and maintain stellar relationships with carriers. Uphold the highest service standards and compliance benchmarks.
* Client : Listen to clients' needs, craft tailored shipping solutions, and provide real-time updates. Be their go-to problem solver and logistics guru.
* Documentation : Handle all shipping paperwork with precision-from bills of lading to freight invoices and contracts.
* Market : Stay ahead of the curve by tracking market trends, predicting rate shifts, and optimizing capacity availability.
* Crisis Commander: Tackle transportation hiccups head-on, from delays to damages. Deliver exceptional customer service to smooth out any bumps in the road.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field experience preferred .
* Experience: At least 2 years in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics. Experience in fast-paced environments a plus.
* Skills:

* Stellar negotiation and sales prowess.
* Top-tier communication and relationship-building skills.
* Multi-tasking magician with the ability to juggle multiple shipments effortlessly.
* Tech-savvy with experience in transportation management software (TMS) and other industry tools.
* Analytical thinker and problem-solver extraordinaire.
* Detail-obsessed with a commitment to accuracy.

* Certifications: Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) certification is a bonus.
