The Role: Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel | California (Los Angeles, Oakland, or Remote) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel to join a nationally recognized law firm. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex litigation matters within the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit while collaborating with a dynamic and innovative legal team. In this position, you will: Conduct factual investigations and manage comprehensive discovery processes. Prepare pleadings, draft motions, and effectively argue cases in state and federal courts. Take and defend depositions, engage in mediation, and provide strategic legal counsel. Represent clients in administrative matters and arbitrations, delivering innovative solutions. Collaborate with colleagues in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit to develop and execute legal strategies tailored to client needs. Candidate Profile Experience and Expertise Years of Practice: Minimum of 10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. Litigation Background: Strong experience in state and federal court proceedings, with exposure to administrative matters and arbitrations preferred. Educational Credentials Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Bar Membership: Active California bar license and residency in California. Core Competencies Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Superior interpersonal abilities and a proven ability to work effectively under pressure. Exceptional judgment with the capacity to manage multiple projects and articulate strategic courses of action. A demonstrated commitment to community engagement and professional excellence.
